Ok. This is a story I'm working on. I've started a manga too, but it's not quite finished yet. So I'm only gonna post the prologue until I've finished the story.

The story takes place a year after the events of Kingdom hearts 2. Sora, Riku, and Kairi are on the islands. What they don't know is that Organization XIII is back. Though, it's not THE Organization XIII. More like the next generation.

(I don't mean their kids. Next generation as in new characters are taking their place.)

Somewhere in a world ruled by technology, a scientist is found in his lab working on a formula to create the perfect human.

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

"Alright. Almost done. I can feel it. " a voice said.

The lab is full of test tubes and beakers. The walls are colored white and so are the floor tiles. The screen shows a strand of DNA being examined.
Meanwhile, the city's power core is having some difficulties.

Man: "Huh? Wh-what's going on?"he questioned in a concerned tone.

The street lights were blinking on and off. A women scowles as she sees a small dark creature with yellow eyes aproach her.

"Awe. Isn't this cute? Come here little fella." she said as she bent down to hug it. Suddenly, it leaped at her and its claws dug deep into the womens chest. When it recoiled its claws, a heart was in its hands.

The women collapsed and her body disintegrated into fragments of bright light. A nearby boy yelled in terror.

"AAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The people of the streets began to look around for the source of the screaming and found that there was a dark creature with a heart in its claws. Citizens began to shout and scream. It seemed an invasion had begun.

The dark creatures had multiplied. There seemed to be more of those dark creatures with the antennas. The city had become a market for those who seek hearts.

More and more hearts were lost to the darkness every minute. Lives were lost as the darkness had begun its invasion. It seemed when they multiplied, new species were born. Soldiers, neoshadows, Wyverns, and more. The world was in trouble.

*BOOOOOOMM!!!*

The lab shook as the vibration of the blast traveled through the tower. The heartless had made their own entrance to the tower. Something was attracting them to this specific location.

The scientist got up from the floor and rubbed his head.

"Ow... What was that? Sounded like it came from the lower area of the tower." he muttered as he positioned his chaired to the table.

He was about to sit, when a noise was heard from inside a visible pipeline just near the door. The scientist scowled and walked towards the source of the noise. Each light step, got him closer and closer to the pipe. Deep inside him, he feared the worst.

Suddenly, an announcment was said over the tower speakers.

Voice:"Calling all residents still in the Bio tower."

The sudden voice surprized him.

"Evacuate immediatly. The city is under attack. For your safety, we advice that everyone evacuate and reach the safety terminal."

The scientist recovered after, yet, another fall.

"Damn speakers. They scare the heck out me everytime." he muttered.

He sighed and remembered about the data he had accumalated in his harddrive.

"Shoot! I gotta save that data into a disk before anything else!" he told himself.

He ran to the keyboard and began to input the file into an already inserted disk. A bar appeared on the screen. It grew each time the percent number increased.

50%....55%....60%....................80%..............95%...

The bar was about to reach 97% when all of a sudden.....the screen shut off. The lights went off and immediatly back on.

The mans right eye twitched. He was so close too. The data transfer was intterupted, which meant the file was erased. His heart pounded as his lifes work was flushed down the drain within seconds. He rebooted his computer, not caring about the current situation his city was in, and checked his file.

Luckily, only 70% of his work was deleted. The other 30% was saved in the disk. He sighed heavily. At least some of his work survived. His finger pressed a button and the disk was ejected from the slot. He grabbed the disk and placed it in a case.

It was now safe in his pocket. Having no time to lose, he opened the lab door by pressing a button which made the door slide open automatically. He began to sprint through the hallways in search for the exit.

His time was running out.....

Hallway after hallway. It was like this as he passed through each corridor. It didn't take long before he reached the exit. When he did, there was just one problem. There were 3 exits. One could lead to some other area. He had to choose wisely.

"Hmm....I'll choose....the 2nd." he muttered. He ran through it and one minute later, he came running back.

"AAAAHHH!!" he yelled in horror. As he switched to exit 1, a heartless came sprinting out of the 2nd exit.

*Footsteps.*

"Almost there. I can see the light! Almost....." he trailed off.

As he reached the end of the hallway, he saw the ruins of his home city. He took slow and light steps as he made his way to the edge of the rooftop.

Meanwhile...

At the safety terminal, everyone was making their way into the gummi ships. The co-pilot was yelling out directions.

"Everyone! Please make your way to the ship in a calm, manner!" he shouted.

People were all in a hurry and fear was slowly over taking them. Suddenly, a loud thud could be heard. The people in the back of the line turned around to see the body, of the co-pilot, disperse into light. His heart hovered high in sky as it slowly was swallowed by the darkness.

Then, a crocodile like heartless appeared in the co-pilots former place. People began to shout as fear took over.

"AAHH!!"

"RUN!!"

"HURRY!"

"HEARTLESS!" the citizens shouted.

Now, people were shoving other people to the side just to make it into the ship. A soldier, within the ship, hesitantly closed the ships entrance door with a bit of a struggle from desperate civilians.

"I'm sorry... I don't want to leave you people behind, but it's to risky for the other people aboard. Forgive me..." the pilot said over the speaker.
The ships engines began to hum with increasing speed and power.

It slowly lifted off from the roof and then the thrusters were activated. It flew off into space, leaving behind children, family members, and more.

The scientist slowly collasped to his knees as he saw the outcome of the heartless attack. His world had turned to rubble.

"How could small creatures cause so much destruction..?" he questioned.

The skies had turned into a black/grey color. Lightning was hitting everywhere. His world was disappearing by the second.

He looked down and his bangs lowered, its shadow covering his eyes. Slowly, tears slide down his cheeks from the sorrow he felt.

Suddenly, a heartless appeared behind him. The scientist felt its presence and his hands turned into a fist. They shook with anger.

"RRRRRrrr......You! You're the cause of all this... I'll make sure you never live to see another day!" he yelled as his right hand touched a nearby broken pipe. He got up swiftly ran towards the heartless( Armored Soldier.).

He swung the pipe horizontal from the left ending to the right. The heartless skid to its left and fell over the small roof. A heart slowly floated up towards the dark sky.

The scientist inhaled air and exhaled it as his anger rose.

He looked up and yelled.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Hmph. Never took you for a wild guy, Nehi." a feminen voice said.

Nehi snapped out of it and looked around. His eyes were drawn to a women standing near the entrance/exit of the roof. A women about his height was standing there. Long straight azure hair, royal blue eyes, and beautiful body. She wore a brown tangtop, khaki colored mini skirt, and black school shoes.

"So....are we gonna get off this world or what?" she asked him in a friendly tone.
