Far away in a small world part of something much larger called "Destiny Islands".
Which was two peaceful islands beside one another. Lived many children but a couple were main.
..
*Ding, ding* goes an alarm clock, *WHAM* goes a broken alarm clock. Theo( short for Theodor )opening his eyes after smashing his alarm clock for the one millionth time, not litterally but pretty close.
" I hate mornings" Theo grimaced at the sight of dawn. He crawled out of bed changing into his every day clothes.( a green shirt with X's on the short sleeves, along with a pair of green matching pants w/ X's on the pant knees )
Opening his bedroom door and walking out leaving it open just a crack carelessly. The only trouble he had to watch out for was the fact his younger brother Keath almost always stole something Theo later would need, Or he would hide in the closet till night and jump out in the pitch black unexspectedly and scare Theo out of his wits.
Walking to the kitchen and fixing himself something to eat...Keath runs around the corner picking his nose.. then getting ready to dig in. Theo stared at Keath with a descusted expression " I lost my appetite" he said slightly lowering his eyebrows and staring at Keath angrily about ready to rip his head off. Keath smiled at Theo and then dug his finger into his ear, the same finger that was up his nose and pulled out some earwax along with the leftover boogie, " yum! my favorite" he said eating it. Theo sent him a look saying " EW you are nastttyy!" then litterally saying " I think im going to barf". Keath chuckled asking Theo " want some? it taste yummy " Theo walked around Keath smacking him in the process " you ask me that one more time and i'm going to hit you so hard you see stars!!!" Theo glared at Keath. "Fine but you don't know what your missing!" Keath shouted to Theo.
" Yes i do, i'm missing my appetite, and i'm losing my patience" Theo walked back to his room opening his window so he wouldnt have to go back around to Keath, He hopped out. and ran down to the smaller nearby islet.

Meeting Nala there, "Hi, your late!" Nala greeted Theo, Theo looked at Nala and shrugged his shoulders " well i'm sorry i have a snot nosed brother who distracts me with anger, so hey and whats up? " Nala smiled at Theo " not alot, I was just sitting her waiting for YOU.. but i'm okay now" Theo gave an innocent face " i'm sorry...but i'm glad your okay now." He said friendly " cause your mean when your angry " Theo mumbled to himself. Nala looked at Theo with mad eyes..Theo looked at her while she looked at him thinking she liked him.. " uh.. hehe is somebody in love?" moving his eye brows up and down flirtatiously. Nala grimaced " eww, I don't date guy's who look like you!" * she was clearly lying but with the naive sensitivity of Theo he couldnt tell the difference between lying and being truthful * Theo's jaw dropped then closed turning into a angry expression " well your really attractive too, but who'd want to date that!" Nala grinded her teeth together, almost screeching. She began to chase Theo around trying to get ahold of him so she could split him in two! Theo ran from her but slipping as clumbsy as he was, Nala fell directly on him. They both were suprised..staring at each other. Just getting closer for they're lips to meet until that is when Keath jumped out of nowhere and shouted " SO WHENS THE WEDDING!" Theo sighed " ya know Keath for someone who's supposed to be thirteen you could pass as 2" Keath grumbled shifting his eyes making sure no-one else heard that. theo got up , shot a look at Keath * growl * " Hey, Nala I got to go take care of buissness , See ya later " Theo waved then grabbed ahold of Keath and dragged him home.

Later that night it started raining horribly. Theo was sitting in a chair staring out his window. He glanced over accross the street at Nala's house.. seeing foot prints in the mud. They headed towards the island. Theo jumped up opening the door just enough to sneak out without being heard. He ran gently down the hallway making his way downstairs, Looking around there was nobody awake. Theo grasped the front door knob reaching his hand to unlock it when he noticed it was already unlocked. " huh, how about that.. " He turned the door knob and out he went shutting the door tight behind him. The rain only got worse Theo who was heading on his way to the islet searched for his small boat.. it wasn't there. Theo ran into the water tredding his legs hard. The mini waves thrashing him as it got deeper and deeper, each time he lifted his hand to guard himself from the small, yet strong tides. " Ugh.. ah. " He fell to his knees once reaching land. He managed to his feet, running for the secret place Him and Nala had found. He stepped inside the small pond's glow reflected upon the caves walls As he grew closer the waters glow reflected on his face too " Nala? " he called but no answer.
Stepping around the sharp corner Nala was on her knees , head facing the miniature pond. " Nala! Why did'nt you answer? And what .. " Before he could finish Nala started inbetween words " We're soon to leave this place.. " Her face still towards the water. The water dripping from Theo's face and hair each drop turned into a small spot of a black substance, Which started to grow larger into a sea of darkness. The Black gew crawling up Theo. " Wha..What's going on? Nala? " Theo trying to move only made the force of the substance stronger. Nala Who was almost completely covered with it only continued staring into the waters gaze " Don't be afraid of the darkness.." She murmered. " Nala!!! " Theo reached for her but his arm cut short, Nala looked up to him " Stand strong..Theo " She whispered softly while each word slipped a single tear rolled down her face, watching the tear hit the ground it was light. The Darkness began to fade and the light bagn to shine brighter. Theo shaded himself from the light watching Nala she stared back at the water and smiled. Within seconds Nala disappeared. " Nala!!! " Theo began to run for her even as she was already gone he appeared glowing with light then the light grew and he soon disappeared aswell but while so he'd seen someone... someone he knew everyday of his life.

Chapter Two

Theo Woke to the sound of laughing, Rubbing his eyes his view came clear.
" huh... Where am i? " he asked himself atleast twice. Getting to his feet he slowly walked around a brick corner.
Not seeing anything but street lights in the distance, and a few people trotting along the broken walkway, clothes tattered...just a plain mess.
Theo ran up to a short kid, only looked about eleven, twelve " Hey excuse me, do you know where this is? " Theo asked politely. The kid just turned his head and walked off without a single word.
" uh...well thanks...for nothing " Theo ran over asking another kid This one maybe about fifteen, sixteen somewhere along that line. " Excuse me, you happen to know where we are? " The kid shook his head slightly about to say something when a man from behind interupted. " So your the new comer? We've been waiting for you " Theo turned looking at him strangly " Who?...me? " The man walked towards the left, fading into the darkened pathway " Wait for me! " theo ran behind him.
